Call for Papers

The rapid evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) has introduced increasingly complex challenges that exceed the capabilities of traditional techniques and algorithms. Recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI)-particularly large language models (LLMs), foundation models, intelligent agents, and their integration with edge computing-have created unprecedented opportunities for innovative, adaptive, and efficient AI-driven solutions in IoT ecosystems.

This workshop serves as a premier forum where academic researchers, industry practitioners, and technology innovators can share cutting-edge advances, novel ideas, and practical experiences at the intersection of AI and IoT. We aim to foster collaboration and accelerate the translation of research into real-world applications.

The workshop invites original, unpublished submissions that apply state-of-the-art AI techniques-including large models, intelligent agents, and advanced machine learning approaches-to address critical challenges in the IoT domain. We welcome submissions exploring innovative AI-driven IoT applications, methodological advancements, and practical deployment strategies.Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Large language models (LLMs) and foundation models for IoT data processing, semantic understanding, and intelligent interaction
  • Intelligent agents and multi-agent systems for IoT coordination, autonomous decision-making, and distributed task optimization
  • ML-based algorithms and protocol design for next-generation IoT (e.g., 6G-enabled IoT, low-power IoT)
  • Reinforcement learning and deep reinforcement learning for IoT protocol optimization, resource allocation, and adaptive control
  • Swarm intelligence and collaborative agents for IoT-robotics integration
  • AI-driven performance optimization for IoT systems (e.g., energy efficiency, latency reduction, scalability)
  • Edge intelligence leveraging large models and intelligent agents for real-time IoT data processing and inference
  • AI-powered IoT security and privacy preservation (e.g., large model-based anomaly detection, intelligent encryption)
  • Intelligent inference and computation offloading in edge-fog-cloud IoT architectures
  • Federated learning and federated large models for privacy-preserving IoT data analytics
  • AI-enabled IoT for smart cities, smart healthcare, industrial IoT, and smart agriculture
  • Edge-native intelligent agents for low-latency, high-reliability IoT applications

Submitted manuscripts must be prepared according to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Format (double column, 10pt font, letter paper) and submitted in PDF file format. The manuscript should be no longer than 6 pages and at least 4 pages. Submitted manuscripts must not contain previously published material or be under consideration for publication in another conference or journal. https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Please submit your paper in the Easychair system by using the below URL: https://edas.info/N35076

When submitting you paper, please select the "2nd International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Internet of Things (AI2OT)" track.

Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in the IEEE Xplore digital library (indexed by EI). At least one author of any accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference.
